Hearing God Presents an Amazing Project – the Mulli Childrens’ Family in Kenya Africa

Posted by on August 10, 2015site-map at 7:48 am

From time to time, we present great Website or Blog we have found. It’s hard to find good news in the Mully icon photoworld today but we want to show you an amazing project happening in Kenya, Africa! Let’s start with some YouTube background on the Mulli Children’s Family in ‘Father to the Fatherless’.

Crossroads Missions has partnered with Mulli Children’s family for eleven years, and now many of you are part of a great God story. Charles Mulli is a former Kenyan street kid turned millionaire, who gave everything away in 1989, and shocked his wealthy family by bringing 3 street kids into their home. Since then, they have rescued over 7000 children and currently offer support to over 2000 more. Children who once were without hope, are excelling in academics, sports and arts and becoming productive leaders in their communities.

Christian Foundations presents the Book: ‘Stewardship as a Lifestyle’

stewardship In the book, ‘Stewardship as a Lifestyle’, Dr. John R. Frank digs into his yearning for a more wholistic approach to the life of the steward than just asking for or giving money.  Many of those who have seen this as the goal in their life have ended up with a puzzle of stress, too little time, not enough talent – a ‘rubric cube’ in their Christian life.

The course for true stewardship thinking is more deeply set in the book’s opening chapters. A series of short and challenging musings about a wholistic approach to the life of the steward follow.  Each one is designed to provoke individual reflection and group conversation, coming from John’s own struggle to grow in the grace of generosity.

The Whole Bible Explained in 7 1/2 minutes!

Quite a few years ago we attended a Bible group where we were taught the over all theme of the Bible.  I enjoyed so much I just wondered if it was still there.  Yes, here it is!  Produced on YouTube by:  Sadly, you have to have a YouTube account to see this but check out the next one. Then I found another YouTube by Ben Samulak to see the overall view of the Bible and yes in a humorous way:

I trust you enjoyed this break from our series as you took ‘A Walk Through the Bible’.

Hearing God presents: ‘Walking into Walls’

Posted by on October 18, 2014 at 1:13 am

Book: Walking into Walls I have a new book recommended! I’ve added it to my blogs so you can see what others are reading too!

Have you ever heard yourself say: “As hard as I try, life never turns out like I hoped”. “Why is it that everyone has better friends than I do?” “I would be so happy if it weren’t for him (or her).” “No one can know my secret; I’ve got to deal with it on my own.” “I’ve messed up so badly, God will never forgive me.”

Do any of these feelings sound familiar?

Along the lines of ‘Co-dependent no more’, ‘Walking into Walls’ helps you see the walls that stop growth and relationships. We think we protect ourselves but must disable stuff within. Best-selling author, radio host, and counsellor Stephen Arterburn identifies five prison walls, or blind spots, that will hold you captive and block the amazing things God wants to do in your life,

Our amazing Creator God!

Some sent us an amazing email the other day.  Thought aus3I would share it here!

When GOD solves our problems, we have faith in HIS abilities.  When GOD doesn’t solve our problems HE has faith in our abilities.

God’s accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. . . . .

-those of the canary in 14 days; -those of the barnyard hen in 21 days; -eggs of ducks and geese in 28 days; -those of the mallard in 35 days;

-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days. (Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

God’s wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant. . . .

Hearing God presents: ‘Guardians of a Promise: Tamar’s Story’

Posted by on June 24, 2014 at 5:14 amtrademarks

fireworks3After four years in production, this is my first ever published novel!  ‘Guardians of the Promise: Tamar’s Story’.

In 1714 BC, a young country girl began the journey of her life.  She was given in marriage to the eldest son of Judah, to Erdad of the tribe of   Abraham.  As she began this journey in fear and trembling, Tamar had little idea of the future she would find.

Remember, if you send me an email, I’ll send you a free chapter!

Four years later, she helped to bury her first husband and, in the custom of Abraham’s people, she was given in marriage to the second son, Onan.

8/7 Stuart Townend Music – See What A Morning! A view of Heaven

Posted by on April 17, 2013guidelines at 3:12 am

Here is some music by Stuart Townend of Mandate fame.  He is singing a great resurrection hymn about Heaven and what we can expect.  They have also added the words to help catch the truth of his words.  Uploaded by JustChris77 on January 13, 2008.

We do trust that this has helped you catch the view of Heaven as more than just a place of angels and worship.  Certainly this is what happens there, but as you can see from this series, so much more is awaiting us!

YouTube – Israel In Ancient Egypt – Archaeological Proof

Posted by on November 11, 2012 at 4:14 am

Using the latest archaeological evidence from the stables of Rameses ll to little-known ancient Egyptian texts, Egyptologist and Bible Archaeologist show that Israel did in fact exist and had a presence in ancient Egypt. This is the 2003 documentary “Who Was Moses?”

The proof of the Bible record is clearly there.  Often it takes men of science to bring the information to the light of ‘modern day’ science.  Our thanks to  for this YouTube posted on October 24, 2011.  Catch you on our next post,

Hearing God through the Names of God, our Creator

Posted by on September 13, 2012trademarks at 1:16 am

The all powerful Creator God revealed Himself to His finite and wilful creation in small, understandable doses.  With every dealing with mankind, He revealed a little more about His nature, character and purposes.  The name ”El-”, for God, forms compound names associated with some attribute of God in relation to His creation.

1. Elohim

Genesis 1:1, Exodus 3:1-6, 15, Psalm 45:2,6. Plurality of divine Persons at creation.  Used about 2500 times in O.T. for the Trinity, the first recorded revelation of God.

2. El-Elyon

Genesis 14:18. “The Most High God”, who is above all else; spoken to Abram after retrieving Lot, showing God’s Omnipresence.

3. El-Roi

Genesis 16:1-4 Telling the people that He is the One who sees all, Omniscient,

Hearing your Creator through *The Full Movie on the Life of Moses*

Posted by on February 5, 2013 at 7:12 pm

If you have time to grab a cuppa’, sit back and watch a movie, I would recommend this movie length version on the Life of Moses.  Sure some of this is a mixture of Biblical and Hollywood …. but you can still learn the facts of his life.  This movie goes for almost 3 hours!

I trust you gained some valuable information as well as your entertainment with this movie.  Our thanks to NylaRossini for his input on September 21, 2011.

What are the Ways that God Talks to us?

Posted by on October 14, 2012 at 4:12 pm

As we read through stories and follow the Bible accounts, here are the main ways that God talks to us:

1. The PEACE of the Holy Spirit, the inner witness or calmness that comes with a right decision.  Tranquillity, a rest and an inner contentment:  Romans 8:16, I John 5:10, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 John 3:24, 4:13, Galatians 4:6.

2. HIS CREATION – in the design of “nature”, the perfection of the physical world, the perfection of God’s laws and the steadfastness of His principles:  Romans 1:19-20, Nehemiah 9:6, Acts 14:15-17, Psalms 19:1, 97:6

3.  The CONSCIENCE – Inbuilt values or principles every society lives by, whether that society believes in God or not:  John 16:8-9; Romans 2:15, Acts 17:26-28, Hebrews 9:14.

Personal Exercises – Where is your Holy Spirit Space?

Posted by on June 22, 2011 at 12:59 amhandbook

The purpose of this exercise is to help you to be more aware of God’s presence in your world.  Collect 2 pieces of paper and 4 drawing pens or textas,  of the colours you like.  It is important that you have a sense of privacy where you are.

Follow the steps as listed to find your ‘Holy Spirit Space’ and what He is saying to you.  We are inviting the Lord to talk to you about your heart and where He sees you on your journey.  We list the process so when you are ready, begin and LISTEN to hear His voice.  Take your time and work slowly through this exercise.

1.  First, concentrate on what’s happening around your physical body.
